Locale turns "we should plan that trip" into a day-by-day plan your whole crew can see — itinerary, budget, packing, and local tips in one place, on any device.

What Locale does
Built by a traveler who got tired of trips living across six group chats, three spreadsheets, and someone's Notes app.
Tell Locale where you're going and what you're into — get a realistic, geo-clustered plan for every day. Then drag, edit, and make it yours.
Invite friends as Crew or Viewers. Everyone sees the plan, RSVPs, and adds notes on days — while the trip stays safely in the owner's hands.
Track shared expenses, exclude the toddler from the bar tab, and settle up with prefilled Venmo links or Zelle handles.
Auto-generated packing lists tuned to your trip, plus a readiness checklist that can read your flight and hotel confirmations for you.
City-specific tidbits, day maps, one-tap Google Maps routes, and the right transit apps for where you are — TfL Go in London, Citymapper in Paris.
Sign in once with a magic link and your trips follow you — laptop to phone, live. Share a read-only snapshot link or a polished PDF with anyone.
User protection
Locale was built privacy-first from day one — here's exactly how your data is protected.
Sign-in is a one-time magic link to your email. There's no password to reuse, leak, or forget.
Row-level security means the server itself only ever returns your own trips — or ones explicitly shared with you. Not even a buggy client can leak someone else's plans.
Trips are invite-only. Crew can add notes and RSVP; Viewers can only look. Only the owner can change or delete a trip.
AI requests go through a locked-down proxy — keys never touch your browser, usage is audited, and abuse is throttled per user and per network.
Your trips are cached locally first, so airplane mode isn't a problem — and you're never locked out of your own plans.
Nothing is sold or shared. Export every trip as a JSON backup or PDF anytime — your data leaves with you.
